After early retirement I discovered my passion to care for senior citizens. I have worked in this field over 9 years. I am a CNA and have experience with dementia, difficult behaviors, Pseudobulbar Affect (PBA) and weaknesses caused by a stroke. My experience includes assisting with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, companionship, supporting Independence, mobility assistance, gait belt use, wheelchair transfers, range of motion exercises, transportation to medical appointments, and many other facets of caring for seniors. My greatest quality is that I care about people, show compassion and am able to relate to those who need care. I try to become a friend upon whom they can rely.
